- Store name, URL, and domain
- Contact email address
- Shopify plan and store settings
- Installation and uninstallation dates
Analytics Data
- Google Analytics 4 property ID and configuration
- Traffic metrics (sessions, users, page views)
- Conversion data (purchases, add-to-cart events)
- Revenue and transaction information (aggregated)
- Traffic sources and campaign data
- Device and browser information (aggregated)
Product and Order Data
- Product names, SKUs, and categories (aggregated)
- Order totals and quantities (no customer personal information)
- Cart abandonment rates and patterns
Usage Information
- App feature usage and interactions
- Mission Brief opens and engagement
- Dashboard views and searches
- Settings and preferences
What We DON'T Collect
We do not collect:
- Individual customer names, addresses, or contact information
- Payment card numbers or financial account details
- Customer passwords or authentication credentials
- Personal health information or sensitive personal data

Data Processing and Storage
Processing Location
Your data is processed and stored on secure servers in the United States (AWS US-East-1 region). We use industry-leading cloud infrastructure with:
- Redundant storage across multiple availability zones
- Automated backups every 24 hours
- 99.99% uptime SLA
Data Encryption
- In Transit - All data transmission uses TLS 1.3 encryption
- At Rest - Data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption
- API Keys - Stored using industry-standard encryption
Access Controls
- Role-based access controls (RBAC) for our team
- Multi-factor authentication required for all staff
- Audit logs of all data access
- Regular security training for employees
Data Sharing
Third-Party Service Providers
We share limited data with trusted service providers who help us operate Analytics Agent:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Cloud hosting and storage
- SendGrid - Email delivery for Mission Briefs
- Sentry - Error monitoring and debugging
- Stripe - Payment processing (via Shopify)
All service providers:
- Are contractually obligated to protect your data
- Can only use data for specified purposes
- Must comply with privacy regulations
- Undergo regular security audits
We NEVER Share Data With:
- Advertising networks or data brokers
- Marketing platforms (for their own purposes)
- Competitors or third parties for sale
- Any entity for purposes unrelated to providing the Service
Data Retention
Active Accounts
We retain your data for as long as your account is active to provide the Service.
After Uninstallation
- Days 1-30 - Data retained for account recovery if you reinstall
- Day 31 - All data permanently deleted from production systems
- Backups - Removed from backups within 90 days
Legal Requirements
We may retain certain data longer if required by:
- Legal obligations or pending litigation
- Tax and accounting requirements (aggregated financial data only)
- Fraud prevention (anonymized patterns)
Your Rights (GDPR & Privacy Laws)
Right to Access
Request a copy of all data we hold about you. We will provide it within 30 days in a portable format (JSON or CSV).
Right to Correction
Update inaccurate or incomplete information through your dashboard or by contacting support.
Right to Deletion ("Right to be Forgotten")
Request permanent deletion of your data. We will delete within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
Right to Export (Data Portability)
Download your data in a machine-readable format to transfer to another service.
Right to Restrict Processing
Request that we temporarily stop processing your data while disputes are resolved.
Right to Object
Object to specific data processing activities, such as marketing communications.
Right to Withdraw Consent
Uninstall the app at any time to withdraw consent for data processing.

Cookies and Tracking
Analytics Agent uses minimal cookies:
- Authentication Cookies - Keep you logged in (essential)
- Preference Cookies - Remember your settings
We do NOT use:
- Third-party advertising cookies
- Cross-site tracking
- Behavioral profiling cookies
Data Breach Notification
In the unlikely event of a data breach:
- We will notify affected users within 72 hours
- Provide details about the breach and affected data
- Explain steps we're taking to address it
- Offer guidance on protective measures you can take
- Notify relevant authorities as required by law
Children's Data
Analytics Agent is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it immediately and terminate the account.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Data Use Policy to reflect:
- New features or services
- Changes in privacy regulations
- Improvements to our data practices
We will notify you of material changes via:
- Email to your registered address
- In-app notification
- Notice on our website
Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
